How your character reaches the site
Seal, carry, count — and what to check when something does not arrive.
1. The seal
At every logout or /reload the addon seals a sheet of your character into the game's saved files. Nothing is sent while you play — addons cannot reach the internet.
2. The carry
- Your companion reads the sealed sheets and posts them to the site within a few minutes.
- No companion? Your addon hands the sheet, in the game, to a guildie whose companion runs (a “collector”), and theirs posts it. If nobody is online it waits and goes the next time you play with a collector online.
- Every sheet also carries the guild roster, so the levels of members without the addon move on the site too.
3. The count
The site counts guild XP and missions from each sheet, and the companion brings the totals back into the game at the next start. Two computers are fine: each one counts from where it left off, and nothing is paid twice.
Something did not arrive
- Do a
/reload— that seals. Then give the companion a few minutes. /hv status: is the character linked? Is the relay sending? A red line “the last seal failed” = send it to the GM.- Is the companion open? Without it (and without a collector online) nothing travels.
- A first
/reloadafter updating the addon still seals with the old version; the next one uses the new. - Never copy the WTF folder between computers — each computer must count on its own.
