Dungeons

The journal in the game, the missions, and how a dungeon counts as done.

A dungeon is done when its last boss falls with at least one more of the guild in the group. The addon hears the boss die (the game tells it) and notes how many of the guild were there; every boss pays its XP, the last one completes the dungeon.

The dungeon journal (the Dungeons tab)

  • Every dungeon by level. Levels in gold are the right ones for your level.
  • A green name: you cleared it with a guildie. On the right: how many of the guild cleared it, and your quests done / for your side and class.
  • Click a dungeon: the door, the bosses (ticked when you killed them), who in the guild cleared it, and its quests — done ones ticked, the ones in your log marked. Point at a quest for who gives it, where they stand (with coordinates), its chain and its reward; click it and the addon puts a pin on your map at the giver.

The quests come from the Codex (/codex/dungeons), which has the maps and the full text. A quest with no id in the Codex yet cannot be ticked.
